MIW is definitely a heavier band, more in the genre of metalcore/gothic metal. But they know how to get the crowd going! I remember as I was taking these pictures, I had a couple "fan moments". I actually had to stop myself from getting too into the music because I wasn't concentrating on my photos! HAHA!
The greatest part of this experience though, was being able to meet Chris and Ricky for the second time, since CTV has started.
MIW is full of talented musicians who LOVE putting on a show for their fans. It's ridiculous how dedicated they are to their 'Creatures'. This band is full of passion/rage/love/hate and everything inbetween!
If you haven't already, you NEED to check them out. Great guys! Great band! <3

Day One Hundred And Twenty-Seven

May 17, 2011

Does anyone else think that this is weird? I was at the train station with Kate Barr and these are just random pedestrians waiting for the train.
Notice that they are all looking at me? (By the way, I was just pointing my camera in random places toward them because I wanted a picture with people in it.)
And this is what I get.
AWESOME! :D

Shot with a Nikon D3 and 24-70mm wide-angle zoom lens. Settings: f/8.0, 1/200sec, and ISO100

Day One Hundred And Twenty-Six

May 16, 2011

I am doing a project for Photo Studio, and we have to do something called exhaustion. We pick a medium sized object, and basically take photos of it in different ways.
This was taken in the photo studio at my school, just to show what the object looks like.
So here ya go!

Shot with a Nikon D3 and 24-70mm wide-angle zoom lens. Settings: f/11, 1/160sec, and 100ISO.

Day One Hundred And Twenty-Five

Not that great of a picture. But Steve Menke was waiting for the train to go back home and I decided to capture it.

Taken with a Nikon D2X and 24-70mm wide-angle zoom lens. Settings: f/5.0, 1/100sec, 500ISO.

Day One Hundred And Twenty-Four

May 14, 2011

It's kinda gross how geese have little teeth on their tongues.

Taken with a Nikon D2X and 24-70mm wide-angle zoom lens. Settings: f/8.0, 1/100sec, 200ISO.
